# Managing Your Profile

Your Storynest.ai profile is your identity within the community. Here's how to set it up and manage it effectively:

### Setting Up Your Profile

1. After logging in, click on the portrait avatar located in the bottom left corner of the screen.
2. Select "Profile Settings" or a similar option (exact wording may vary).
3. Add a profile picture to make your account more personable.
4. Draft a short bio to give fellow users insight into your writing interests and journey.

### Updating Your Information

* Regularly review and update your profile to reflect your current writing interests and achievements.
* Consider showcasing your best work or recent publications in your bio.

### Privacy Settings

* Review your privacy settings to control what information is visible to other users.
* Adjust settings for story visibility, profile information, and community interactions.

### Account Deletion

* Go to your profile section on the bottom right of the screen.
* Click the settings icon on the top right.
* Click on delete your account.
  * If you a paying subscriber please cancel your subscription before you delete your account.
